Chorizo is a type of sausage that is commonly associated with Spanish and Portuguese cuisine. Chorizo is typically made from pork, seasoned with various spices, most notably paprika, which gives it a distinct red color and smoky flavor. Chorizo can vary in terms of spiciness and other added ingredients, such as garlic or herbs, depending on regional variations and personal preferences.

Chorizo, a highly flavorful and spicy sausage, has a vibrant history that dates back centuries. Originating in the Iberian Peninsula and has been enjoyed by diverse cultures, including the ancient Romans, who influenced its development with the introduction of spices and curing techniques.

Charcuterie Care

All of our charcuterie is made in small batches by artisan producers. This does mean that sometimes the product may look or taste a bit different. You may also experience a white mould developing on the outside of the product, this is friendly bacteria that our producers have introduced, as long as it's white it'll be alright.
